Just to remind you that this season's first One Day International Match (between England and Ireland) takes place at the Cricket Ground this Friday 5th May.

We understand that Nevil Road will be closed and feeder roads should be stewarded.

Residents living in those roads are advised to carry proof of ID and address (eg Driving Licence) to facilitate driving into the area.

The ground opens at 9 am and play starts at 11 am. It is scheduled to finish at 6.45 pm but the match is being televised and we understand that if there are rain delays or poor light, floodlights may be used (and play may finish later).

There is a Park and Ride service from the Portway, and public transport information has been sent out with tickets. However, the City of Bristol College Car Parks will not be available for spectators so we can expect pressure on on-road parking.
