Air pollution is an issue which was raised at the Bishopston Society AGM in early October.
Our Redland councillors are also picking up the issues and are asking local people to complete a survey.
This is from the November Redland Ward newsletter:
“Local air quality and the breach of safe limits in our air due to traffic pollution is a long standing issue of concern to residents. Gloucester Rd is part of the air quality management area but is still polluted. We’ve been out asking local people what they think about air pollution, whether it affects their health, and solutions they would support to tackle this silent killer. Our party co-leader, Caroline Lucas MP visited Gloucester Rd on October 8th to help find out what residents think. We’ve already asked several hundred people locally."
The councillors' brief survey can be filled in here.
