BishopstonWalkBishopston, Cotham and Redland Neighbourhood Partnership is about to begin a survey of the area bounded by Cranbrook Road, Kellaway Avenue, Muller Road and Chesterfield Road, to produce a map showing useful walking routes across and through that area of our neighbourhood.

We enter 2014 with some trepidation as to what cuts will be implemented following the council budget setting meeting in February. We are very concerned about the numbers of staff who will be made redundant over the next three years as this may impact on what the Partnership is able to achieve locally.

The Bishopston, Redland and Cotham Neighbourhood Partnership are proposing slight changes to the carriageway on Cranbrook Road to support the change of speed limit from 30 mph to 20mph.

Once again, the Neighbourhood Partnership structure has demonstrated its strength in successfully enabling local democracy to happen!

The work of the Partnership continues to be extensive and relevant to residents of Bishopston. Read more to find out more about the Gloucester Road, trees, parks, and residents parking schemes, and the Wellbeing Fund.

This is the FEBRUARY 2013 report, for which, apologies for its lateness! “My Neighbourhood Week” running from May 4th to May 11th 2013, is being co-ordinated by the Communication and Engagement Subgroup of the Neighbourhood Partnership.

Some time ago, the Friends of St Andrews Park were asked by the BCC Neighbourhood Partnership Area-Co-ordinator to produce a list of priorities for the park.
