Sustainable Bishopston in partnership with the Dharma Action Network for Climate Engagement are hosting
a showing of GASLAND PART II Showing on May 6th, 7.30pm at Halo. 141 Gloucester road, Bristol, BS7 8BA - http://www.halo-bristol.co.uk/
This film provides a compelling narrative, shocking facts, and clear science on the largest domestic gas drilling campaign in modern history. Where PART I focused on the pollution and health effects PART II explores the contamination of democracy through the intense influence of oil and gas corporations on political systems. This is highly relevant to the UK where Government, and some popular media, are working to clear the way for corporations to frack. Part II is every bit as shocking as the first film, while providing inspiring ways forward to support people in their fight to save their homes, lands and the character of their communities.
Admission by free ticket only with voluntary donations welcome on the night.

Shown as part of the Bishopston, Cotham, Redland Community Festival.
