Green city 2The Bishopston Society's 2015 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, 28th September at 7:30 pm at St Michael's Church Hall on Pigsty Hill.

After the usual (short ) business of electing the committee - and incidentally, there are vacancies, so if you would like to get involved, please ask for further details - we have our speakers  :

  • Andrew Garrad, Chair of the Bristol 2015 European Green Capital Board who will tell us what has been happening this year, and what we can all do to benefit future generations
  • Tracey Wintle, Supervisor of the Cheltenham Road, Redland and Clifton Libraries will tell us more about our local library service
  • Liz Kew and Rob Umphray will update us on the work of the Street Scene Group

The meeting will end with the usual Open Forum, when you have the chance to have your say, and bring matters that concern you to the attention of the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, there will be refreshments, a chance to see the photo display and to talk to committee members.

Jamie Carstairs, one of our members, will be present at the meeting and will be able to answer questions at the end of the meeting on the Community Asset Application in relation to the Memorial Ground.

The meeting is open to all - members and non-members.  We look forward to seeing you there.
