SORRY! PLANNING PORTAL OUT OF ACTION: We are sorry to have to announce that The Bishopston Planning Portal is currently out of action. For technical reasons beyond our control, much of the information gathered via the portal is not currently being updated automatically, and therefore the portal does not currently provide a reliable indication of the details or status of planning applications. You may still view it, but beware of misleading results please. We are working to develop a fix for this problem. Bristol City Council's online planning database at https://planningonline.bristol.gov.uk/ remains the definitive source of information.

To Bristol City Council Planning Department:
Application No 13/02339/F – 18 Gloucester Road - change of use of ground floor from retail Class A1 to Cafe/Restaurant A3 in conjunction with adjacent premises – The Blue Lagoon, 20 Gloucester Road

Whilst not supporting change of use from retail to another cafe/restaurant we are not formally objecting.  However we ask that should you be minded to grant this application, a condition of change of use be added to say that provision be made so the 'rubbish' including recycling from this additional space be stored on the premises until the morning of collection.  You may be aware that the Promenade is currently awash with large waste bins.
We will be objecting to a future application for licence for this property as it is within the CIA. Next >

NOTE: the articles shown above are merely the most recent 10 in our Planning section. There's lots more as you'll see by clicking through to the sub-sections Commentary, Architecture, Licensing and Policies.
