29 SEYMOUR ROAD    14/05230/F

This application is an improvement over the earlier applications for 5 no. and 4 no. houses respectively.  However, we are still concerned about certain aspects of the application;

We support the updating of the shop front and front elevation of 131 Gloucester Road and the incorporation of innovative low energy lighting.

13 TYNE ROAD   14/05476/F

The Bishopston Society is very concerned about this application for a 4 Bedroom (3 bedrooms plus a study) 2 storey family house within the rear garden of 13 Tyne Road and accessed by means of a narrow rear lane which to date has served only garages.  Our concerns are as follows;

 29 RADNOR ROAD    14/05616/F

 This application follows our objection to the previous application dated 9 October 2014 and its subsequent refusal.

 Despite the fact that this proposal has been reduced from 5 no units down to 4 no, we would still like to object on the following grounds;

BISHOPS LANE (to the rear of 210 Gloucester Road)   14/04914/F

Unfortunately, we were unable to get our letter of response to this application sent in time! This application has now been granted. However, despite this, it may still be of interest to show below what our objection was to this application:

We are concerned about many aspects of this demolition of an existing 2 storey brick warehouse and replacement with a 2 bedroom dwelling as follows;

26 CLAREMONT ROAD     14/03864/H

Unfortunately, we were unable to get our letter of response to this application sent in time! This application has now been granted. However, despite this, it may still be of interest to show below what our objection was to this application:

We have reviewed this application and take the view that the proposed deck (already constructed) is extremely high and domineering in relation to the houses on either side.  Furthermore, the proposed deck allows unacceptable overlooking and loss of privacy not only to the rear gardens but also to windows of habitable rooms at first floor level.  We recommend refusal.

28 RADNOR ROAD   14/04223/F

We would like to object to this application on the following grounds;

1.       Conversion of a single family house into 5 self-contained flats is overdevelopment of the site and out of keeping with the area
