Richard Leonard sent this statement on the 'Costa' story, Nov 3rd, but it is interesting that 'Costa' is playing the same game on Whiteladies Road (see end of article).

Work is pressing on with the conversion of 14 Gloucester Road into a Costa Coffee outlet and workers on the site say that they will be opening in about two weeks.  This is in spite of the council twice rejecting the planning application and in defiance of the 3500+ local people who signed the petition, came to the planning meeting or sent in written objections.
 
Costa clearly have no regard for local people, the council or planning decisions.   You can let them know what you think of their attitude by filling in the Costa Coffee feedback form which you will find here:
