Everyone is invited to make a clean air pledge and come to a "community call-out", on 21st June, 6-7pm, at Boston Tea Party, Gloucester Road, followed by a clean air walk.
Locals are now being invited to pledge their support by making a short, simple, commitment to something they can do in person, no matter how minor, towards cleaner air on the longest day of the year.
The "call-out" event will then celebrate these pledges and hear from knowledgeable guests on the subject.
Our guests will join in with a range of short shout-outs from participants. Those booked in so far to do this include Eleanor Combley (who will offer a Councillor viewpoint), Gavin Spittlehouse (who will give a demonstration of self-help air quality monitoring) and Jessica Read (who will discuss the health impacts on our children).
BTP's cafe facilities will remain open during the event, and a short clean air walk will follow on straight afterwards.
Please offer your clean air support pledge now, and find out more, via our Pledge page.
