The Bristol 2015 NP fund is £250k.  Initially, £10,000 has been allocated to each NP.  The remaining £110k will become available when NPs have allocated / spent the initial £10,000 and will be focussed on areas of greater need and areas with additional ideas and projects.

BCR Neighbourhood Partnership

May 3rd to May 11th was our Neighbourhood Festival, co-ordinated by the Bishopston Cotham and Redland Neighbourhood Partnership. Several events happened on the Gloucester Road area, including the Heritage Mapping Session on Wednesday May 7th lead by a Council officer.

BishopstonWalkBishopston, Cotham and Redland Neighbourhood Partnership is about to begin a survey of the area bounded by Cranbrook Road, Kellaway Avenue, Muller Road and Chesterfield Road, to produce a map showing useful walking routes across and through that area of our neighbourhood.


We enter 2014 with some trepidation as to what cuts will be implemented following the council budget setting meeting in February. We are very concerned about the numbers of staff who will be made redundant over the next three years as this may impact on what the Partnership is able to achieve locally.

The Bishopston, Redland and Cotham Neighbourhood Partnership are proposing slight changes to the carriageway on Cranbrook Road to support the change of speed limit from 30 mph to 20mph.

Bristol City Council has produced a document that clearly explains the role of Bristol's Neighbourhood Partnerships and how they operate.

Once again, the Neighbourhood Partnership structure has demonstrated its strength in successfully enabling local democracy to happen!
