school walkThis is an an invitation to join Living Streets’ Walk to School Week from 21-25 May. We hope you will be excited to take part in our annual walking celebration. Increase your exercise and decrease local air pollution.

It is a great opportunity to make walking your first choice for school trips and to learn more about your neighbourhood along the way.

It's  three weeks away but it's always good to prepare early. So take a look at the first of our top tips to help you plan your walking activities.

We can all be pushed for time, so why not start small? You could park and stride by leaving your car a little further from the school and walking the rest of the way. The key is to create a routine that works for you and your family.

CAB logoFor more tips on getting the walking habit, the Clean Air Bishopston (CAB) project team will have some helpful suggestions. You can find out more about the CAB project and its imminent launch by Bishopton Society and its partners (see preview) ......the project logo shown here being one we hope you will soon become well acquainted with.
