2.Fly-tipping: If you discover or witness fly tipping, here is what you can do to help.....

Bristol Waste are responsible for going through the bags of waste for evidence. If you suspect you know who it is, make sure that you put this information into the report and ask that Bristol Waste goes through the bags. If it is a regular issue please highlight it in the report. Remember to enter your contact details into the report so you get an email acknowledgment. If you witness the fly tipping and have any evidence e.g. pictures of car registration numbers, please send these to For a fly-tipper to be prosecutedyou will need to provide a statement and may need to act as a witness in court.

If the fly tipping has not been collected and you have not heard from Bristol Waste or Neighbourhood Enforcement within 7 days from the date of your report pleaseforward your report email, with some notes to your local councillor,

3. The first action hour of 2019 will be on Sunday March 24 at 9 am.The plan is to overpaint the graffiti along Happy Lane (rear of Sefton park Road). If you can join us,please meet either Rob at the start of Happy Lane by Ashley Down Road or Liz at the Derby Road end of Happy Lane. Please wear your work clothes, bring gloves and if possible,a painting brush. We will have mini rollers but if you have your own that would help. If you dislike painting, please bring your litter picker along and help litterpick the lane.

4.Join the Great Bristol Spring Clean! Grab a litter picker and high-vis and help make Bristol a cleaner, greener city. It's that time again and BCC are gearing up for the annual Great Bristol Spring Clean event in support of the Mayor’s Clean Streets campaign. Reserve your litter picking kit and join in between 22 March -23 April.

5.Plans for future “Action Hour’s. These Sessions will be on the 4th weekend of each month from March to November, either the Saturday or Sunday. These will be dependent on someone suggesting what they would like to be done and who are happy to commit to working as one of the co-ordinators for that session.
