Clive Stevens -  Chair of the Redland, Cotham and Bishopston Neighbourhood Partnership has sent us the following information about 'A Manifesto for Bristol ' (AMFB)

Dear Bishopston Society – Just to let you know we launched AMFB at the Pride Event on Saturday. We have stands at the Harbour Festival and “Avonmouth Party”July 20th -22nd http://www.bristolharbourfestival.co.uk/  and will be continuing to grow a presence during the summer ready for a major activity in September. I was very pleased with the great response from visitors to the stand and the lack of enthusiasm from the 2 mayoral candidates that I spoke to!

The AMFB website is www.bristolmanifesto.org

The dual aims of AMFB are:

i) To enable to the people of Bristol to make an informed decision when they vote for a Mayor on Nov 15th

ii) To enable the people of Bristol to contribute ideas to a “People’s Manifesto” which we will then put to the Mayoral candidates in Nov.

We hope we can work with all the other organisations organising events and question times.
