Steve Crawshaw has worked on air quality in Bristol since the inception of Local Air Quality management in 1998. He has expertise in monitoring, modelling and reporting on air quality in the city. 

He will tell us about  the current air quality monitoring network that Bristol City Council operate and the results of this monitoring. He will outline the main issues faced in meeting EC air quality standards along with the reasons why we continue to breach these limits within Bristol and other parts of the UK.   Angela Raffle will talk about the health and policy implications of the current air quality levels in the city and offer some views about what is to be done.
Dr Angela Raffle is a consultant in Public Health who has worked in Bristol since 1985. Angela is involved in Sustainable Redland and Transition Bristol.
