TBSCelebratesOur Celebration of Bishopston Culture taking place on Tuesday 2nd April has met with a goodly response from contributors to the local social and culture scene, who are looking forward to meeting you at Gloucester County Cricket Ground from 7.15 for a 7.30pm start.

Participants will encounter "exhibitors" who have now been lined up from a wide range of areas, including literature, art, photography, theatre, music, gardening and growing, local history, and community & media.

At this special event, which diverts from The Bishopston Society's usual public meeting format, you'll have a chance to find out more about local social and cultural organisations, activities and events via mini-exhibits at the statrt of the evening. You will also meet others to celebrate our rich local scene and add to an emerging list of favourite "who's who's" on Bishopston's cultural and social scene.

But it's not too late to nominate more organisations, including your own. As previously invited...

Which Bishopston cultural groups do you love, and why? What social events and organisations do you want to tell others about? Which cultural icons in our midst should we boast about beyond our boundaries? What unique, intriguing and world-class contributions do Bishopston-borne people and ideas make?

Please let us know who you think fits the bill by dropping an email to .

The meeting will also featured our infamous Open Forum slot, in which shout-outs and announcements from relevant local organisations are welcome.

Our celebration takes place on Tuesday, 2nd April 2019 at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start, finishing at 9.30 pm, at Gloucester County Cricket Club, Brightside Ground, Nevil Road, Bristol BS7 9EJ. Kids welcome. Refreshments provided.
