The forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Bishopston Society features a guest speaker talk from David Cemlyn, the well-known local history advocate and campaigner. His talk, entitled "The History - and other interesting facts - of Bishopston" may or may not include coverage of his hunger strike attached to a local lampost in 2008. It may or may not include reference to his consequent appearance in the Daily Mail. But it promises to be enterntaining and informing either way. You can find out more about David via his blog, courtesy Friends of St Andrews Park.

The usual formalities including annual report, election of committee, etc., will take place as always. All are welcome, members and public. Date: Monday 27 September 2010; time 7.30pm, place St Michael's Church Hall, Pigsty Hill.
