Planning in Bishopston

Oct 22nd 2012. We are concerned with the proposed gable appearance of this roof extension. The hip has been extended to a gable which is fine except that the huge flat roof rear dormer has been extended right up to the gable end and is clearly visible from the street.  This has resulted in an extremely ugly gable end.  We strongly recommend that the rear dormer is kept back approximately 1m from the gable end which will retain the integrity of the gable end and result in a much improved appearance.
