The following letter has been sent by our secretary to Bristol City Council Planning Department:

ADVERTISING HOARDING, ASHLEY HEIGHTS, ASHLEY DOWN ROAD

The Bishopston Society has considered this retrospective application and we would like to express our concern at the prospect of planning permission for a large V board advertising hoarding in a residential area. This is inappropriate and would set a precedent for others if permission were granted.

However, should the application be granted we would strongly recommend that the permission is time limited and NOT permanent.

We recommend refusal.
