Unfortunately, we were unable to get our letter of response to this application sent in time! This application has now been granted. However, despite this, it may still be of interest to show below what our objection was to this application:
We have reviewed this application and take the view that the proposed deck (already constructed) is extremely high and domineering in relation to the houses on either side. Furthermore, the proposed deck allows unacceptable overlooking and loss of privacy not only to the rear gardens but also to windows of habitable rooms at first floor level. We recommend refusal.
