We are concerned that this proposed rear kitchen extension is significantly higher than the extensions of the properties on either side.

The height of the neighbours’ extension on the left is shown differently on two drawings. Rear Elevation AA (proposed and as existing) shows it considerably higher than on the Visual Proposal rear Elevation drawing.  In practice the proposed rear extension is much higher than the properties on either side. We would suggest that the extension is unnecessarily high and would be overwhelming and out of place if permission were granted. We recommend that the height is reduced


UPDATE  :  At a planning meeting on 13 February 2015, the application was GRANTED, subject to conditions.
