This is a well laid out document that is the industry standard, endorsed by government for well designed homes and neighbourhoods,

that local communities, local authorities and developers are invited to use to stimulate conversations about creating good places to live.

The document poses a series of questions to consider. The answers should then facilitate and guide the process of deciding on the quality of proposed and existing developments. This therefore offers invaluable help for both individuals and community groups as well as local authorities when confronted with making decisions on planning applications, particularly for medium to large scale developments.
