To the National Planning Casework Unit: PROPOSED SUPERMARKET ON MEMORIAL STADIUM 12/02090

The Bishopston Society are concerned at the decision by the Planning Committee to grant permission for the new supermarket and would recommend that it is ‘called in’ by the Secretary of State for review prior to a final decision being made.

This is a copy of the Bishopston Society's letter to the Planning department:

The recent period has been relatively quiet on the planning front with few significant applications.

Applicant name: Sachcithananthamoorthy Satheeswaran   Premises: Bobby's News, 457 Gloucester Road, Horfield, Bristol.

Oct 22nd 2012. We are concerned about the proposed dormer treatment to the front elevation.

Oct 22nd 2012. We are concerned with the proposed gable appearance of this roof extension.

Oct 22nd 2012. The Society considers this to be an excellent application, well considered and suited to the site.

Oct 22nd 2012. The Society is concerned about this conversion of a roofspace into a 1 bedroom flat.

The 'Pound Plus' Convenience Store at 451 Gloucester Road has had its licence application refused, on CIA grounds.
